澎湖之光李宗派博士列名世界名人錄

●李宗派博士博覽群書。
(記者光澎報導)李宗派博士在學術上之成就,教學服務之卓越記錄,在國際社區服務上之貢獻,曾獲得亞洲地區與國際社會服務領袖之肯定,並受推選列名於美國教育名人錄,世界名人錄,與劍橋之傑出學者名人錄,確為澎湖旅美學者之特別殊榮,在此介紹李博士之學經歷,可鼓勵澎湖家鄉之青年學子。
李宗派博士原籍澎湖西文澳,自幼好學向上,為人誠實忠厚,小學就讀馬公國小(時稱旭日國校),因時值二次世界大戰,美軍日日轟炸馬公軍港,民生困苦,人民疏開鄉下,小學轉校到石泉國小一直到停戰,戰後考進馬公中學就讀,又遇二二八事變,學校停課,以後再進高中,畢業後,因品學兼優,被保送到臺北之省立行政專校(現之臺北大學法商學院)就讀社會行政科,暑期曾返鄉到澎湖縣政府社會股與澎湖救濟院實習服務貧苦老人,民國44年(1955)參加大專畢業生就業考試榮獲社會行政優等及格,民國45年(1956)獲得高等考試社會行政第一名及格,他曾在國內臺大醫院社會服務部,高雄醫學大學附設醫院服務,與中興大學法商學院社會學系擔任助教,並在美國開發總署與行政院美援運用委員會合辦之美援運用評估小組擔任調查研究專員。
民國51年(1962)李宗派獲得美國尼布拉斯卡大學之獎學金前往該校攻讀社會工作碩士學位,1964年夏順利完成學位後,再進入紐約之哥倫比亞大學社工學院研究社會福利理論與社會工作教育,同時在紐約市之大都會醫院與碧文醫院擔任醫療社工師,協助許多華僑老人與留美學生之暑期工作與生活適應,1966年秋,他返臺擔任臺南神學院社會服務科之副教授,傳授現代社會工作與社會福利之理念,1967年夏,再度赴美,先後在洛杉磯縣衛生部擔任醫療社工師,心理治療師,酒毒防治督導,以及南區之公共衛生社會工作地區主任,同時在洛杉磯之加州大學(UCLA)研讀公共衛生碩士與博士學位,1972年春,順利完成學位,在1972年秋就應聘擔任長堤加州州立大學社會工作副教授,1978年升等為正教授,1980年被推選為系主任,領導系務六年之久,1985年創設了美西聞名之社會工作碩士研究所,目前有研究生七百名,大學生一百多名。
李博士曾在臺灣之東海大學社工研究所,高雄醫學大學之家庭醫學科與醫學社會學系,國立屏東科技大學之生活應用科學系,與臺北之實踐大學社工系擔任客座教授,並擔任實踐大學之民生學院院長多年,又兼該院之老人生活保健研究中心與啟智發展研究中心主任多年,李博士老當益壯,現在仍然在高雄縣之內門鄉實踐大學高雄校區休閒産業管理學系擔任講座教授,講解人類發展與老化理論,老人休閒等學科,李博士擔任過海內外大學之博士及碩士論文考試與教授升等論文之評審委員;李博士之中英文著作甚多,大部分為社會工作教育與老人保健等類。
李宗派,實踐大學民生學院客座教授兼院長、美國長堤加州大學社會工作學系終身榮譽教授。

California State University Long Beach in southern Taiwan.
January 18, 2001: special lecture on “ the Psychosocial Functioning of the Elderly after
Retirement ” to a group of resident physicians at Family Medicine Department of Taichung
Veteran Hospital-Medical Center, Taiwan.
January 17, 2001: special lecture on “ the Professional Identity and Self-Awareness of Social
Worker in working with the Mentally Retarded Children ” to a group of 25 teachers at Catholic
Home for the Handicapped Children in Chang-Hua, Taiwan.

American Culture ” at the Industry Hills Sheraton Resort and Recreation Center, City of
Industry, for a group of hundred professionals from Chinese-American community of southern
California. Dr. Anita Bock, Director of Children and Family Services, Country of Los Angeles
